Done That

The word is... GREASE!

For all of you Grease fans out there, you’re going to like this.

I was invited by my friend and her parents to see the musical Grease at The Fox in St. Louis.
I was totally excited because
she and I had performed the song, You’re The One That I Want, at a local talent contest.
The musical started at 8pm so we went to dinner before it started. We chose to eat at the
Bistro right down the street from the Fox.

Our table was upstairs in a room with yellow diamonds on the walls. The ceiling had lights with many different shapes on them. There were also big, yellow and brown, celestial artwork hanging on the ceiling. The food was delicious! I ordered baked tilapia, asparagus, beans, rice. I finished with a big brownie with caramel, whipped-cream, and ice-cream. Yum!

Afterwards, we walked over the The Fox. It was very crowded! We took some pictures outside before we faced the crowd. Once we found our seats, I looked at the program to see who was in the musical. The only people I recognized were American Idol contestants Ace Young playing Danny Zuko and Taylor Hicks as The Beauty School drop out angel.
The show was incredible! The singing was perfect and the dancing was remarkable. The ending was very different from the movie. There was no senior graduation carnival. The play ended at the ice cream shop where Frenchy worked. Sort of weird.
All in all, it was great. I had a lot of fun. I got home around 11PM. I watched
Ellen with my mom before I went to sleep. By the way, I cant wait to see Ellen on American Idol.
I need some suggestions. My basketball season has ended and I’ve got nothing going on. I come home from school,
eat the frog and then torment my mother because I’m so bored.
I’ve been considering taking guitar lessons or maybe even
Tae Kwon Do. Seriously, give me some ideas as to what you think I should do.
There’s got to be something better than just playing video games...
