No Macaroni on The Menu
I tried a new restaurant this week and loved it. I went to Macaroni Grill in St. Peters, MO.
I ordered their seafood linguini and it looked, smelled and tasted delicious. It was filled with jumbo size, grilled shrimp, scallops and clams. All of this seafood was on top of a ton of noodles and that was awesome.
I had never eaten a clam before, but I already knew I loved shrimp and scallops. The clams were great. If you go there, you should try this dish. It is really good!
I guess I should mention that I also ate a huge piece of their plain cheesecake too.
You know now that I think about it, I don’t think their was any macaroni on the menu. I wonder where they got their name?
You should also wonder where they got their bathroom doors...it is a long story, but if you use their bathroom you will see what I’m talking about.
Since I’m talking about food, I must admit that I have an addiction to the White Cake Batter Concrete and the Vanilla Clown Car Concrete from Shiver’s in Godfrey.
I am sure they recognize my parent’s car because I make them take me there all of the time. Both of these rock! You gotta try them.
Speaking of ice cream, I also recommend the new Thin Mint Blizzard from Dairy Queen or the Crazy Cookie Dough Concrete Mixer from Culvers in Edwardsville. I tried both of those too and they are both home runs!
